Red Tuna Shirt Club is proud to announce our January shirt - Low Country Fishing Charters from Myrtle Beach, SC!
This one-of-a-kind shirt has been sent to all Red Tuna members - let us know how you like it. If you haven't joined yet, do so this week and we will send you this authentic Low Country shirt right away as your first shirt (while supplies last!). Just visit redtunashirtclub.com.
Low Country's two experienced captains, David Cutler and Captain Jim Bowen, specialize in both inshore/backcountry as well as offshore fishing. The inshore charters target trout, redfish and flounder using both live bait and artificial lures. Offshore, the target species range from Spanish mackerel to Gulfstream billfish.
Coastal South Carolina is often overlooked in favor of its more famous neighbors in Florida and North Carolina; however the Low Country fishing is world-class. The tremendous variety means great fishing year-round, but Capt. Cutler didn't hesitate when asked about his top preference, "My favorite species offshore is cobia...chumming over a wreck and sight casting to these strong powerful fish on light spinning tackle is so much fun!"
Low Country Fishing Charters offers the best possible equipment and two very clean boats, a 26' Sea Hunt with twin Yamaha 150s for offshore and a 24' Nautic Star for inshore. However it is that southern hospitality that really separates Low Country from a typical charter experience.
"We customize every trip to the needs and preferences of our clients," explained Capt. Cutler. "We do small private party charters so all of our focus is on your desires, whether you are a seasoned veteran or a fish timer. We also pride ourselves on being family friends and giving kids a fun first impression of fishing."
