Default Deck & Seat Cleaners ?

My deck of the boat can get kinda nasty from all the mud the kids track in the yard when loading up the boat so my question is what kind of deck cleaner will keep it nice and white after a day of blood, guts and yes even mud ? My seats in the boat get kinda of nasty from little feet crawling all over them what is the best cleaner for the cushions ?

I keep two things on board...simple green and bleach, the simple green cleans all surfaces(and is biodigradble) and the bleach disinfects coolers, cutting boards and knives. Stuborn blood stains can be gotten out with hydrogen peroxide......The peroxide lives in the med kit,not in the cleaner section.

It is cold today, you'll have fish by 5/1,we will have schoolies by May1,bass are like bathing beauties, they follow the sun,the longer days trigger migration, they will migrate, their feeding may be off due to the cold water, but they will migrate!

I agree, Simple Green works great, I also use bleach on my seat cushions, they tend to get a little mildew on them being out in the rain all of the time.

What do you use simple green on :?: It dosen't do a good job on a lot of thinks. Don't use it on windows As a window cleaner it leaves a oily residew. My son uses it on tramsons when he is doing boat lettering.

I like Clorex cleaner for bare spots. Or ajax. (powder)

I use it on anything and everything on the deck or hull of the boat,if you mix it too strong it will leave a residue on glass or plexi, however a weak solution will rinse clean....
Mixing ratio's for Simple green

Heavy cleaning/degreasing 1 part cleaner : 1 part water up to 1:10

All Purpose, this includes canvas and fiberglass 1:10 to 1:30

Light cleaning, this includes painted surfaces and woodwork, fabric and upolstery 1:30- 1:50

Reflective surfaces, this includes glass and mirrors,TV and computer screens, apply with cloth-do not spray on..... 1:150..

A clean boat is a happy boat! (thats why mine is miserable)

I myself am a big fan of Simple Green...

Not such a fan of Bleach...its more-or-less bad for the ocean...but I was told that it eventually breaks down...

Bleach is a great disinfectant and fairly non toxic if diluted. 8)

Default krazy klean

i picked up this stuff this weekend at bosun's marine. it worked great on the deck and cushions. did not leave residue on glass. bio friendly. they said it's the stuff they use to prep their boats for delivery. i diluted it pretty good with hot water too.
