Sure did.
Surf fishing in Jamaica SUCKS.. couple of small parrot fish.
Went out on a locals boat seas were stupid ruff which left us skunked.
the last 4days the seas were stupid. Seen a sail boat blow into some rocks which the surf was unforgiving. I have pictures of whats left of his boat. RUBBLE..
all and all felt good to throw some pencils and wet some lines..
I did mange to catch a good sized buzz.
IT FELT GOOD TO GET AWAY FROM THIS COLD.

Sometimes catching a buzz is more fun than not catching fish. I am headed to Puerto Vallarta Saturday to get away from the cold. Hoping to get into a rooster or crevalle down there. I will post if I do.

Congrats on the new rod.

hope you have Fun and Tight lines...
Jamaica is to over fished.. Netting and traps are common methods to get fish.
When its one of the Islands only sources of food so they keep everything they catch to eat....EVERYTHING ANY SIZE..
The Keys would be a better bet to catch fish next year in Jan/Feb..
Again GL and Tight Lines.

Thanks for the well wishes. I am bringing a 10 Wt and a 10 ft. It is my understanding the Roosters run tight to the beach and generally they are visible. Krocodiles and Pink poppers are what was suggested by a member in the Cali forum. It would be fun to hook up in pacific surf.
