Default Bucktails

Figured I'd try to make a few bucktails.

First up is some Clouser Minnows made with Jim's YouTube link.

Some 2 ounce banana heads

Some 1 1/2 ounce flat heads. The 3 yellow ones in the upper right were bought from NJ Tackle, painted, epoxied and finished. The other were cast from a home made plaster of paris mold. I tried it, it worked, but buying a mold and just taking it out when you need it is much easier.

And a Patriotic red, white and blue lead head bucktail.

I tied my first bucktail last spring using the "How to build a Danny' tutorial. Then, I studied the Weapons of Bass Destruction tutorial. And then Jim posted the youtube link, on the clouser, and I spent some time surfing around. I'm a quick learn and having so much fun it's feels illegal. This site is just full of great information.

I have a Do-It banana jig mold that pours 3/4, 1/ 1/1/2, and 2 ounce. I think we need to get together and pour a mess of both some day.
