Default I need to slow down

I have a 21 foot Mako with a 200HP Honda, the slowest I can troll (using my GPS) is 3.2 Knots. One of my friends told me to drag my anchor, but I don't think that's a good of an Idea. Should I try swapping out my prop or investing in a trolling motor or is there something easier.

You really don't need to buy ANYTHING.... Here are just two ideas to slow you down.
1. Get a 5 gal. bucket drill a couple of 1/2 inch holes in the bottom. Take the handle off the bucket and drill 2 holes on each side of the top where the handle WAS. place a 1/4 inch line in the hole and tie a knot so now you have a rope handle. Drag that behind your boat 4 to 5 ft. and that will slow you down.

2. If you have a electric tilt on you motor, bring it up until you hit a nice slow speed. Sometimes this works, but it all depends on how much slower you need to go. Of course you want you props to stay in the water and your water pump to continue pumping....

The best bet is the bucket trick....

For the price you can't go wrong. I wonder how it holds together at wide open throttle.

The best solution is unfortunately the most expensive

Get a small 10+ horse motor.

Not only will it help you troll slow but it may save you a Sea Tow charge one day.

If you have trim tabs, try deploying all the way down. It should slow you down.
