Big top water swimmers kicked ass for me this year. Darters were a close second. That reminds me, I need to buy a few more darters for next season.... but ya can't beat a big fish slamming a top water plug. That just gives me a chubby

topwater were my favorite this year...spooks and pencils...swim shads did thier share of bassin in the cannal along with jigs, jigs, jigs.

When I've thrown everything else in the bag and can't hookup, out comes either the black bomber in the darkness or a pearl storm shad during the day, if I can't catch fish with one of them, well then, it's my fault.
