The first weakfish and bluefish were just caught on the inside and decent sized bass were caught on the outside this weekend. This blast of warm air should really get things going now.
The water's not quite warm enough for me to be throwing wood but it is time for the flyrod.
Went looking over at Matunuck. Something was getting the gulls in an uproar further south on the beach.
Maybe schoolies? Blues? or just bait?
Appears the storm threw a bunch of sea-clams up onto the beach, but they were pretty well picked over by the time I saw the gulls working.
