Default Two finished prototypes....

my first bottle plug, measuring 6 1/2" from tip of bottom lip to the tailwrap...after minor tuning, it looks alive!!! i tested in really still freshwater and at first it seemed a little dead, it wasnt digging in that well. i bent the nose loop up a little and the next cast proved worth the effort. it swims great in still water...im anticipating the salt will increse the action..i got my fingers crossed.
the second plug is a jointed needle experiment, 11" loop to loop. i must be friggin lucky...the intent was a jointed needle that would work like the 7" eel needles i make..sit with the nose just at or just below the surface..work it like a pencil or let sink down a bit and twitch...or v-wake it...i got what i wanted and then some. upon testing various retrieves i found the tail to flap side to side and a v-wake at a slow steady pull, and the let sink and pull..repeat...method gave me a darting side to side motion, while the tail tried to go the oposite direction as the head...to me it looked very much like a wooden sluggo...i just about shat myself. the true test will be the salt though..it dropped a little faster than i wanted in the fresh and im hoping the salt will be the key ingredient to give me the boyancy dreams are made of...if not, ill try again with a little more lead. i cant friggin wait to throw these at some hungry bass.

I would suspect they'll run a bit higher in salt.
Also predict you're only going to get 1 good cast off that jointed eel!
Then it's going to be gone.
Hope you took notes because that 50# class isn't going to let you have it back. Nice.
