Tony, we waited out the first one and fished in between two systems, one to the north and one to the south west, there were a few anxoius moments when I thought we were gonna have to run for it,at one point my radio antena was buzzing from the static electricity in the air,but all in all the constanly shifting wind was the biggest problem,we were VERY shallow water(sometimes less than 2') and it was a constant fight to keep the boat out of the mud and off of a stone dike I was working..

You're a Brave soul. Out in the boat during the day, if there are thunderstorms in the area, I'll keep an attentive eye on them. If it looks like they're moving in my direction or cutting off my route back to the slip, I'm outta there. What no wake zone?

Ripping out of the path at night????

Was thinking of you guys last night, looks like you had fun! The storms missed us down here, but I was stuck inside watching the baby. Can't wait till she's big enough to take her fishing with me :D
