I am tying bucktails with lead heads for striper bass. Thread applying very tough.
While and after tying I apply some Super Glue on the thread but anyway significant amount of hairs departing out.
Any suggestions?

There is something called hard as nails which most people use. 5 minute epoxy works well too. Here roccus explains the bucktail tieing - https://www.stripers247.com/phpBB2/sh...?t=8659&page=2

When Super Glue dryes it will become brittle and crack. While tying i use Color Preserver as a filler and 5 minute epoxy in the end. Also when cutting hairs off the tail i flicker off the PUFF so i'm left with only the long strands and tie them with the ends sticking out a little to ensure the thread holds them tight. You also have to be carefull not to tie too many strands at once. Do a little at a time and it will hold better.

When tying just about everything, I use hard as nails at each step, then finish with head cement or 5 minute epoxy. Really locks the hair in.
Bucktails get the epoxy.
