I think those are the three up this way

You might want to check here, also:

I have no idea of costs, but it is only about 15 mi. south of Albany, on the west shore, and has a very nice restaurant and ship's store on premises:

If you are willing to go 20 min south of Albany, Shady Harbor in NBalt also does slips for the season. I think its about $250.

Did she forgive you?

Green Island is very expensive ... 22 or 25 dollars a foot or something.

Albany is better but check the date you need to be out .... my friend had to get his boat out of there way early one year.

Yea she forgave me.

Castletons a flat rate for fishing im pretty sure. Ill find out tonight and let you guys know.

Green island is $21 per foot and you must be out by the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. Expensive but the best fishing is from the 378 bridge north!

Got a slip at Gull Harbor Marina right next to Gulleys....convenient and secure.

Doc, how did this work out for you? I finally got around to upgrading from my crusty old (but reliable as hell) tri-hull, to something from this century (2009 Angler 17 'Center Console - 75HP Merc ).

Plan on spending a lot more time out there next season (not hard since I managed to get out ONE F*%#ING day this spring), and was wondering how your experience with the marina was? It would be nice to be able to just go out for a few hours after work now and then...even though I am only 45 min from Newbugh, when you are trailering, its tough to justify anything less than a full day.

You can PM me if you don't want to discuss your opinion of this marina in the open forum...thanks.

Mike

Getting a slip was the best thing I ever did.......I will be doing this from now on. It was waaaay better to run down and jump on the boat than to trailer it 2 hrs and deal with the launch.

Thx Doc....I'll probably give it a shot next year. Is there a specific period of time (i.e. month of may) or do they charge by the week or something? I guess I'll just call and find out....no need to reply, just thinking out loud...

I am looking to get a slip there this year. And am wondering what the name of the marina is and the cost. I am pretty sure you know my buddy Tyler that fishes with me. If you could message me the info that would be great.
