My name is Neal Locklear im 42. I live in Cumming,GA near striper infested land locked Lake Lanier. I also love kayaking on the Chatt. River and pier fishing in Destin, Panama City in FL. I fish 704,706 penn greenie and blk/gld. Nothing sounds better to me then the screaming of a 706 on a cobia or 25+ lb king (Unless there is a school of stripers busting on top water).
Any recent luck with the stripers on Lanier? I grew up fishing Allatoona and the Etowah River. I've been wanting to try Lanier for years, but time has been limited...
