Anyone hear of a 52 inch fish out of HH?

I was filling up the rowboat and a guy at the gas station came over and started to talk fishing... said he was told of a 52 inch fish out of Henry Hudson this year.

I guess whoever caught it didn't join the river basin contest

Actually I did hear that the DEC was doing shock testing near Catskill and floated a 52" striper.

On Tuesday there was people shocking around Catskill, but they weren't the DEC. I talked to them when they were done and they didn't do much in the creek (besides herring) and had nothing over 15lbs in the main part of the river...

I heard about it last weekend so before this past Tues. Who knows. Either way Im gonna get her this weekend!
