Bad weather = bad fishing and cold water temps

water temp was in the mid 48 degrees and now its down to 43. and the fish shut off no herring in 3 days and no stripers. we need some nice weather with no rain for atleast 3 to 4 days to get the temp back up

Just keeps them here longer!!! They still have to do their business and they can't do that until they hit their magical temperature! I have a feeling that we are going to have a good season!

Hope your right!!!

Ideal situation for me would be peak run not starting til end of the first week in may. That way i have atleast a few days to fill my two turkey tags.

Also hope they stay here longer--I have to go to Asia for work in mid-May for 10 days. It's nice fishing 3 minutes from home.
