How bout the Salem area? If your into "Human Backpacks" (what we call it when people are elbow to elbow and practically standing on you), hit Plum Island.

There are better, and less frequented spots and beach access at points in between, but they are ofcourse harder to come by and scope out. These are spots I prefer. The spots less traveled are the spots less frequented, that means less "competition" and more room. If a spot looks like its not "convenient", then you can almost guarantee the fishing will be better and more enjoyable :) Take some time to drive up N down the coast and find accessible and Striper-worthy locations

I have a friend in Beverly, but I am a bit unfimiliar with the area. Wish I could help you more.

Try using Google Earth, you can zoom in and scan all up and down the entire Ma coast line.I personally have been eyeballing Crane's beach in Ipswich.
