I've always liked the last 2 hours of incoming, the high of the tide and 2 hours going. Night time has always been the most productive or a just before day break tide. Striper Hyper is the man when it comes to OOB. Read some of his past post or drop him a PM, he may hook you up.

I've had luck at just about every stage of the tide in Old Orchard but if I had a preference, as stated below, I'd pick the last 2 hours of the incoming to the first 2 hours of the outgoing. This is an age old question and certainly not one with a right answer. Ask 10 different guys and ya may get 10 different answers. Best advice I can give ya, high tide, low tide, incoming, outgoing or anywhere in between, if you're able to get out and fish, than fish.

Deer Dragger I didnt know you were still kicking around the pages of 247. How the hell ya been man, been awhile? Hope all is well with you and yours amigo, maybe we can even get together and do some fishing this year since its been a couple years in the making.

Striper Hyper,

how you doing buddy? It has been a while!! I still like to keep up with the home area on 247. Moved to Orrington up on the Penobscot (read no stripers:( ) Health on my end has always kept us apart:( Mom still lives in Biddo so I'll bring the rods next time down and catch a tide or two with you. Glad to hear the strike has come and gone for all. Wife works for the same comp. as you. Hope all is well with your daughter:) Shoot me a PM with your digits. See ya on the surf!! :))
