Default 5lb 3oz Pickerel

Caught this 5lb 3oz beauty on Sunday Dec 30th casting and slowly retreiving a live minnow on a leadhead hook just past the reeds in a local pond. Later that day I caught about a dozen white perch weighing over a pound and a half in a different nearby pound.

Good fun while the weather was relatively mild!!

smulax,

The jacket in the pic is made by Grundens. I highly recommend it. Its been great in the cooler months and the neoprene cuffs are a savior when it comes time to handle the fish. Its the Windjammer-WJ90 Hooded Pullover

Thanks for the feedback on the fish. I was able to keep him alive with the help of an aerator and safely return him back to the pond after I weighed him in at the local Angler's Club.
