Default WHY!!!!!!!!!!

Why are the nice days always during the week, and nasty days on the weekend???? Would someone give me an explanation other than "Murphy's Law" I'm ready for the rain to be gone, nice 60-70 deg weather to be here every day and plenty of fish to be had.....

I'm in a club and we fish 6 tournaments in the spring and 6 in the fall. Two years ago it rained every spring tourney weekend but one. Once the weekends became warm and dry I realized I had actually preferred fishing when it was raining - no %$#^& crowds and better fishing in the day with the overcast conditions.

Come on RAIN :D

Yea i don't mind the rain, just not every damn fishing trip. In the summer when it really rains and we have a fishing trip planned, we haul one of those 12x12' canopies up the beach and set it up over our chairs, bait and tackle. Thats if we're planning on an all-nighter.

I just wish the snow would melt and I can start to do some spring chores so when the fish do show I can fish and not rake the lawn, cut down trees ,open the pool, build a shed and so on

I was out in the woods yesterday checking some boundary lines, under conifer cover there was still between 5" and 13" of snow. Most of it was very corny in texture and hard to walk in. The streams are all very high around here (upstate NY) and trout season opens tomorrow. But at least it should not be raining! Now that I have semi-retired, bad weekend weather does not aggravate me as much as it used to. I just consider every day as Saturday, which means that I have tommorrow off. Tight lines.
