The show gets under way at 1 p.m. for its four-day run in the Atlantic City Convention Center, and the first seminar will begin at 3 p.m.
Show hours will be from 1 p.m to 9 p.m. Wednesday February 2cd. and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 6. Tickets are $15 for adults, $6 for children ages 6 to 12 and a two-day ticket is $25.
Seminars include:
Capt. Steve Bent, skipper of the charter boat Free Spirit out of Cape May, will talk about fishing for striped bass in the Cape May Rips and other hot spots at a seminar set for 3 p.m. Friday.
Capt. Bob Figular of the Mariners School will follow at 4:30 p.m. with a program covering seven tips to save your life on the water. John Luchka, Ameripack and pro staffer for Penn Reels, Power Pro, Spro and Yo-Zuri, will lecture on striper trolling at 6 p.m. His talk will cover trolling with wire and braid, and the tackle and techniques to put more bass in the boat.
Saturday
Gary Caputi, author and staff member of the RFA, will lecture at noon on the secrets of striped bass fishing. He plans to cover casting, jigging, trolling and bait fishing.
Rich Tenreiro and Andy LoCascio of the television show Northeast Angling will talk at 2 p.m. Saturday about catching striped bass in the 40- to 50-pound class during the spring run.
Frank Breaknell, skipper of the charter boat Brynnie-B, will lecture on Sunday at 2 p.m. on chunking for stripers
