Default 51 lb Bass at Plum Island

Not mine...but there was a nice fish caught today at the Merrimack...on 12 lb test! It was a great effort by the angler and the captain. 51lb 3oz I believe was the official weigh in at Surfland.

not sure if it was the same fish but , i dropped my girlfriend off at the ramp to go get food saturday evening and she said she saw a guy with the biggest striper she has ever seen.....
other then that i thought it was a bit slow, we got fish biggest being a 29" .......

Yeah, it was slow for me also and everyone I spoke with. Only 3 fish - no keepers.

Yettie, you didn't miss much!

Proof positive that the big fish swim alone....

I was at Surfland right after they weighed it in, they were just hanging the pic up. Later on that night I saw a 48" (around 35lbs he said) pulled off the beach.
