Default North Alabama fall striper run

We had an awsome trip yesterday boating 50+ fish that were 4-10lbs. Most fish were caught using artificials in very swift current. It was bittersweet at the end of the day with me losing a fish that I fought for a good while. He pulled drag for most of the entire fight even up till the end and I never gained an inch of ground. The fish owned me so to speak. That...without a doubt....woulda been my biggest striper. Dave also lost a nice smallmouth which would've gone atleast 3.5-4lbs.

The way those rocks are below the dams it's about the same as fishing the rips...looks like it from the surface anyway. It's real fun fishing...and you don't have to travel but a couple hundred yards fromt he boat ramp either!
