Gamefisher II is a 31' custom-built Palm Beach design sport fisher powered by twin Volvo turbocharged diesel engines. The Gamefisher II capitalizes on the Pacific sailfish migration by fishing out of Carillo Bay from January through April and Flamingo Bay from May through December. All year, the crew targets Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Roosterfish and Tuna and generally there is no shortage of action thanks to Captain Chellemi's extensive local knowledge.
Gamefisher II specializes in fly fishing for billfish, the crew has put many customers on large billfish on the fly. The boat is one of the most decorated in Costa Rica and has won numerous tournaments, including eight first place finishes in the Presidential Challenge of Central America and first place five years in a row in Costa Rica's largest fly fishing tournament, the Harry Gray Fly Tournament.
Costa Rica is a peaceful democracy and a nation of kindhearted, fun-loving citizens whose primary industry is tourism, so it is unquestionably one of the top destinations for world-class fishing and many other attractions.
