Default The Roccus and his plugs...

I can't tell you what a great talent we have here, with the Roc.........
I cleaned out my truck when I got home from the gathering, rinsed and hung the rods, put my pack back on it's hook in the shop, but still can't seem to be able to take that box out of my truck.......................

I carry it into my office trailer with me, and just look at them............

I am absolutely amazed at the gift I recieved for doing something I wanted to do.........

I kinda feel like Linus and his Blanket...............

Amazing Roc, simply friggin amazing! You are one of THE most generous people I have ever met.

Thank you both for your kind words.

I grew up a poor farm boy, at least from a monetary stand point, money, has never meant much to me, probably because I've never really had any, neither did my parents, they worked until the day they died, most likely I will too, as long as I've got food in my belly and enough money to get me through each day, even if it means meager rations, I'm happy, when you come into this world you arrive bare @$$ and have nothing, when you leave, you leave with the clothes on your back, anything you have accumulated in between is worthless, if ,you dont share it with others.. as my good friend Absolute Ahnie says" if I share what I have, it comes back to me"... this is a mantra that many could benefit by... so I say to you, I'm proud to share a piece of me with you, whether is is knowledge or something I've made with my hands or provided with my labor ,friendship is what makes a man rich.... and at this stage of my life, I feel like one of the wealthiest men in the world...

I agree with all thats been said about Roc. I have two plugs made by him that I can't bring myself to use.......yet. They are works of art and I'd hate to have some yellow eyed demon come and tear them up. Thanks again Roc.

BTW Jimi isn't too far behind in his talent and generosity, his beauties hang on my wall right next to Rocs.

I'd say both of you are very wealthy.

thanks for the kind words eric, i have to credit the roc for his teachings...his work has been, and will always be my inspiration..if roc had never posted anything regarding plugs..the fire in me would still only be a pilot light...that would need re lighting everytime the wind blew.

When I went on my fishing trip with roc he gave me a plug .....i love that plug, he said it wasn't even nearly one of his best ones...but it looks like the best work of art a man could have produced. Roc is one of the guys that first started to teach me when i came to this board, and is still teaching me today....so without him here it definitely wouldn't be the same.

True Talent.
Im rebuilding the gallery and some categories. Take a look at the plug building
section.
If anyone else would like to start an album just hit the album it button on your uploads.
You can make it public or private. Im still working out the kinks.

I'm going to have to agree here. both joe and jim are artists. I truely feel like the guy who sits next to Picasso or Rembrant.....but as great as they are and as insignificant the no name guy is.....they sit as friends only. I cant wait until the day finally comes...sitting in a bait shop somewhere in this world.....talking fishin with some guy you dont know, who's telling me about some of the best plugs made.....and i can say "yea, i know that guy, we're friends" and walk away with my head held high and maybe a little taller for just that day.....Thats going to be awesome.

I feel the same about everyone i have come in contact with on this site...

So Thanks FRIENDS !!!

They truly posess a care and work ethic seldom seen this day in age where everything is instant and everything including this computer is fast. True craftsmanship is dying sad to say but I can say I knew two of the best and can only strive to be mentioned in the same breath. Keep up the good work men and we will keep admiring and asking advice.

I am really looking forward to owning some of his fine plugs. I dont think there are any commercial retailers that could match his craftmanship!!! Nice job Roc!
