Default Hello Guys

I have made an intro on the new members board but wanted to do so here as well. I've got a tremendous amount to learn about throwing lures to stripers, but I can share some long distance casting info and tips. My fishing background is mainly along the beaches of NC, mostly throwing bait to hungry Red Drum and other bottom feeders. I do have a few 35-40lb stripers under my belt though.

Once again, hello from SE NC,

Tommy Farmer

Hey there. Stopped at your site briefly. I will have to go again to take a deeper look.

I am amazed at the distances you and others can cast. There are techniques I just can't get the hang of. May have to do with 8oz.s of sliding lead and 1/2 a tinker mackeral. May just be me. Yet I seem to get it to the fish. ;D

Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the boards, I've never seen 35-40 from the sand, only from boats.....can't wait till I do though!

Thanks again for the welcome and the site compliments. I don't have a webmaster so what you see is my handywork.... the good, bad and ugly...lol

If I can answer any casting related questions I'll be glad to help. Just know that my background is throwing bait, not much lure tossing here.

Tommy
