Default Rhode Island guy's?

Good to see another site getting on board! Any other Rhodie's out there?
After a horrible year of no hunting, after a season of few days Fishing, I am ready to HAMMER again.
The year before was banner, Fish were located in other than known spots now embedded in my memory. Got my personal best of 63 on a day I should not have put the boat in the water. More on that at another time.

Hey Charlie!
So a Conn. guy crossing the border into Paradise!
You fish Quonny? I did some water whipper guide work in the westerly area.
These days I spend most of my time in the boat. Look for a 20 foot fully cammo'd Starcraft named"Amphibious Assault" I launch quite often down at the West Beach Road ramp. I grew up fishing those beaches. We would also hunt Ducks in the Marshes in winter and then SLAM Cod when the tides were right. 60 pounders from the surf! Whiting were the key. When they disappeared, so did the Cod. We used to dip net the frost fish in the Weakapaug breachway at night, then use them for bait at the outgoing tide on the "soft side" of Quonney.
The "good old days" were actually good back then.
Looking forward to Getting a relationship going, perhaps showing you what a " Tube'n worm" can do , or how it feels to go through 100 Eels in a day.

I get to Quonnie quite a bit, but I try for the off hours so I don't spend all my time in the rotation. I like working my way from either Chas-town to Weekapaug or Weekapaug to Chas-town.

Tube and Worm is one of the most productive techniques I;ve ever used from a boat. Nice and slow over the structure and WHAM. Never went thru 100 eels in a day though
