Default Casting Trigger for spinning rods

Hey all,
Has anyone ever used one of these casting triggers on your spinning setup? Even my callused guitar playin fingers get a little sore repeatedly casting if I'm using some extra weight. What do you think??

I use them on some of my rods. They work great. I absolutely love them.

That looks almost like the e-z caster on my freshwater ugly stick. I just got this rod yesterday, so I haven't tried it yet.

I thought it looked pretty sweet, probaby takes some practice to be accurate with it though. I might try one out on my 10'er sometime. Let me know how you like it when you get a chance to try it out Plum!

I have one I use when I'm throwing 8 and a half a bunker with braid on my big heaver. Without it you risk slicing your finger down to the bone if the drag slips mid-cast. Nice little gadget.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like it wouldn't hurt to have one on hand if you're throwing some weight around. I might have to give it a try one of these days.
