Default If you had one set-up all year...

If you could only use one set up all year, one reel, one rod, one line type, one lure (no live or dead bait) what would you chose? I only have one rod and reel so that's an easy one. For line I would use 30lb microfiliment, and a Storm 5" green rubber shad. I don't know why but I have caught more fish using this combo than any other. I am new and may find a new favorite, but what's your favorite set up and why?

No brainer for me,my 10 1/2 G-loomis Sur1265C with 65#Stealth on my Calcutta 700 and I would choose a 8 1/2" Yo-Zuri surface cruiser blue mackeral pattern.
This combo has caught me more bass than I can count,Yo-Zuri plugs are awesome and catch me fish when in a pinch!

I haven't used Yo-Zuris but this year I will be forced to use them, or order everything online. What happened to K-Mart? They used to have a nice fishing dept, they don't even sell power bait anymore. All the sports stores around here have the Japanese stuff this year. Alot different than last year. Dick's must have a contract with Asia to only sell products made there, weird. What are some good yo-zuri plugs? 'Spensive ain't they?

These guys are pricey and IMHO there worth every penny they have great castablity take a beating and hold there finish.Blue & green mackeral patterns are my #1 choice, they do have other colors but I haven't had much luck with but that's just me.
This year Yo-Zuri came out with their version of bottle style plug pretty loud color selection nice design and same Polly Ballsa injection molding I'll have to try them this spring.

Tell you what . The paddletail storm aint a bad lure to have if its your only one. It kind of mimics a host of baitfish like baby blacks, weakies, mullet, snappers and peanuts.
I like to use the storms around the rocks.
Bucktails im still learning on. Not enough experience catching with them to say one way or the other but Im told if you only have one lure make it a bucktail.
