My "universal" set up is a 10' StCroix paired with a Abu 6500 chrome rocket... I have it loaded with 50lb power pro, it is a very light, non tireing outfit... it casts plugs as large as 4 ounces and works a 1/2 ounce bucktail with ease...I have two of these set ups and love them both....

11 foot AFAW Estuary built dual purpose lowrider, ZeeBaas 2.6 inch spool reel with dual manual pickup, 30# Stren Superbraid, 3/4 oz white Smilin Bill Jig with a red trailer.

If I could bring a spare reel it would be the Shimano 400 Conquest with 30# Stealth line.
