I got some info from a pilot today that there were two enormous globs of mackerel off the East End of the Canal. I've got my first two night trips scheduled for this weekend and am all jacked up about the possibilities. I'll be sure to report early next week about the bite.

In the mean time feel free to check out this article on targeting large striped bass in Cape Cod Bay.

Cape Cod Bay is home to an enormous population of over-sized stripers. Sticking to a game plan and mastering a few proven techniques can help an angler to bag more big fish this summer.
