Ya, my pond iced-out on Saturday. Sunday afternoon I was down on the dock throwing some top-waters. Not even a look. But it was sure nice to handle my rod again.

Ah but the Ipswich river is open, while test swimming a new batch of plugs i caught a chain pickerel about 3 lbs on a 6" pikie minnow about a dozen cast latter I caught a black crappie on a 6" A-40 style swimmer....

well damn, it was 85 here today and I'm stuck at work, but I guess I can't complain since I got a sunburn sat and sun out fishing
