I emailed Jim to see if he can help me. Apparently Yahoo Briefcase doesn't want to allow public access anymore. New policy or some &%*.

Nice and soothing baitrunner but I'm with Singletjeff on this one. I'm more into the rock scene but jazz is an excellent style to learn. I don't restrict myself to playing only rock cuz that is just ridiculous. I play everything from punk to country. I tried playing some jazz stuff but I'm not a "Clean" kinda guy.

Thanks guys. I play a lot of rock/blues stuff too, but have never recorded any of it. Back when I recorded these, I was doing lessons at a small music store that catered mostly to the smooth jazz crowd in KC. They got in a pretty cool little Korg 4 track digital recorder and had me demo it for them so customers could get an idea of what you could do with it. The sound quality was better than I expected for recording in my living room on something about 1/2 the size of a VHS tape.

I just got some pretty cool recording software for my computer, so maybe over the winter I'll do some more if I can find the time.

I like it.
I have very eclectic tastes, and jazz is something I listen to a lot. What music recording software did you pick up for your computer?

Thanks guys! No prob Jim,, Jonny hooked me up.

RBA,, I got Magix Audio Studio. I've used their Video Editor/DVD creator for a while and it's good stuff,, this looks to be right up there too. Haven't had much chance to play around with it yet though. Working long hours right now.

I just started playing around with Adobe Audition. Pretty cool what you can do on the computer now. Almost no need for a full studio anymore. I'll see if I can put some thing up on the boards here that I've done. I'm getting kind of busy for the next few weeks, getting ready for working some of the outdoor shows so I don't know when I'll get to it.

OK, I had this up on another board so it was easy. This is something I did with Adobe Audition.
