Default a ditch trip saturday/sunday..

i will be heading to the ditch this saturday night around midnight-1am. should land there about 2:30 am, sunday, will fish untill around 9:30am sunday7 hours of huntin should HOPEFULLY produce a keeper,will report on monday...any and all advise welcome, pm if you have to..thanks.

im still awaiting clearance, so far its a thought. i will know this evening. oh , the ditch, the cc canal, the place with many rocks, if i had a penny for every pound of lead lost in the ditch i would be rich.

heading down tomorrow mid-morning, should be there around 3:00 .. staying at the herring run motel.. be fishing sat night, sunday, sunday night, monday, monday night, tuesday morning and leaving at noon..

got about 15lbs of jigs poured, tied some bucktails and have about ten pounds of rubbah...

should be good for the weekend

taking the camera and my sweetie!

Well another long ride with no results,couldn't quite stand where I wanted,elbow to elbow around all the herring,saw a nice fish the guy about 20' from me got.oh well atleast the weather was absolutely beautiful,which in it self is worth the trip.

oh , twist the knife. :) thats why i swear i am cursed at the canal. no fish just lost tackle..btw i will never buy spider wire again, it sucks. 30lb braid spire wire should not break like it did, for cryin out loud cheap 20lb mono would have held up better. good thing i had a back up rig, lost nothing on that one.
