Default Maine

Ok gents, My wife and 3 month old are en route to Indiana and I have 2 weeks of striper fishing ahead of me while they are gone...No complaints of me staying out too late or getting up too early...anybody game for hitting Popham tonight or tomorrow??? Any word as to whether they have livened up any in Topsham? I have been on lock down all week and am ready to pounce....

if you're planning on going to popham...since you technically can't fish bait until 07/01 it's high tide at about 12:30 am sunday morning....your best bet would be to fish after then....dead low is at about 6 am so you're not gonna hit it real good if you go in the morning unless you go real early.

the only problem with that is that you are fighting with everyone and their brother to catch fish

as far as Waterville goes i live in Waterville and the only stripers i caught this season was under the Waterville Winslow bridge.and had to fight for my spot.to catch 2 fish both under 20". really not worth the aggrivation...
