Default San Luis Resevoir

I was wondering if anyone has ever fished the resevoir with a kayak. Last time i was there was in January and talked to the rangers in the booth about bring a kayak and they told me it was okay and also that there was no lauch fee. So the next time i go back there im going bring the kayak.

Not sure about the the kayak, but I used a float tube before on O'Neil Forebay.

Default Kayaks at san luis

Your best to launch at dino point.

Lots of coves on that end, protected from the wind and fish boil in the coves too!

If you go to your right from the launch, you can make it to the main lake cove.

Live bait is at the little store in santa nella.
