Default crab eating your bait?

hey guys, am sure everyone has had problems with crabs eating their bait. i myself lose alot of bait to crabs. does anyone know how to solve this problem.?

You could move to another spot, but i would recomend you stick it out. Stipers eat crabs, rig so your bait is off the bottom and check your bait offten.

I had that same problem last year, i tie the hook further away from the sinker... Drop shot rig
