The best advice I can give is to go back to the beginning in this forum and just start reading. You have a perfect boat for the Hudson striper run. Maybe befriend someone on the board and go out with them. Someone who's been there and done that. Don't ask for specific hotspots but feel free to ask general questions about structure, current, etc. It basically consist of using live or fresh chunked herring as bait and the fish can come anywhere from four feet of water to fourty feet. Interesting enough our current state record was actually caught on a lure. I would offer more help, but I am currently shorebound.
