Default New spinner

The 2008 modelis up and running.. unlike my first one which was a Fred Sanford/McGyver special... I spent some$$$$ on this one...

The box: 25 1/2" X 31 1/2" made of 3/4" MDF...

Power: a 3 watt 2.5 RPM rotissery gear motor provides the power to the drive shaft, I turned the original square down to 1/4" to acomodate the 1/4" bore on the gear belt pulleys, leaving the square to drive the shaft..

The control box is a PVC bell box, it houses a timer and two switches, the timer controls the motor and the lower 40 watt light bulb, the upper switch controls the top 60 watt light bulb, the lower switch is an over ride for the timer and controls the motor and the lower light, the motor housing laso has a switch, so I can shut off the motor and leave both lights on is I desire...

Running gear: 1/4" shafts (3) are driven by 1/5 gear belt pulleys and belts, each shaft is locked in place at each end by a locking collar, on each shaft, is a fiber board wheels attached by a home made nylon collar, this is screwed to the wheel and locked in place with a set screw.
the left hand wheel houses 3/16" "J" hooks for attaching the plugs, the right hand wheels, have a threaded insert that houses a 2" section of 3/16" threaded rod, the end of the rod is drilled to accept a 5.5 H split ring and a 600lb Kroc swivel, this allows for 2" of adjustment when attaching the plugs, once the proper tension is reached, a wing nut on the back side locks the rod in place, each wheel will hold 6 8" plugs, for a total of 18..

Doors: I made the doors from 3/16 plexi glass, the hinge holes were drilled and tapped to accept 10-32 screws so the doors can close flush, magnetic door catches keep the doors closed...

Beautiful, Roc......When I looked at the last pic with all the lights on, I imagined a bass sitting outside the rotisserie, waiting for them to be declared " done". Then I tried to figure out which one I wanted to bite down on ...first.
