Default Penn Torque reel

Is any one familiar with this new reel from Penn? I was at the local outdoor store today and heard this was going to be in the Van Staal range and they are expecting it to cut into that market quite a bit. Supposedly made in the USA.

I also heard Daiwa is coming out with a new reel that will have 65 pounds of drag which is unheard of in a spinning reel.

It could be that Van Staal and Zeebaas may have more competition in the upper end reels

the September 3rd edition of the Fisherman magazine had a review on it.. hopefully a few more reel makers jump into the arena and and maybe the competition will help bring the price down to a humane level..
