you can order them on line from suppliers, M&D's carries them, but I buy all mine at the "shows" I get the best deals there... I scored two dozen assorted the last day of a fly fishing show last spring, the guy didnt want to take them home so he sold them to me for $2 each! these were fine quality tails....

hey smu..go bag a few bucks and cut off thier tails...just kidding, but that is one option. stamina quallity products sells em..they have a bunch of lure supplies and such too...make sure you get the word out among your hunter friends to save the tails for you. i scored 7 of them last year from one of my hunter buddies that he collected from his fellow hunters.

Thanks jimi. I worked on bagging a tail or two last weekend, but they are not around me? it might be too hot. or I smell like smu and they dont like smu. I just finished a few freshwater lures and some big pencils. I will put up pics once I get the tails and the hooks on them. I also have been experimenting with the scale machine, and different paint schemes. I finally figured out my air brush. the posibilities between fresh and salt water are endless. I cant wait to get into the big pile of cedar I got. I hope it works.

I forgot: what was that blank you gave me at scusset?
