Default Brother in law buck

Got a call Sunday night from my brother in law. He had just recovered his buck. Just got the pics this morning. He got a beauty.
Great job Darel. It is a blessing to have married into a hunting family.
I am very proud of you.

I know nothing about bows, but I do know that its a compound bow, long bows are simple. Compounds use the pullys to draw the limbs back. I think they are more powerful? could be wrong on that, probably am....

I'm sorry, that question was my attempt to get the compound bow guys going! Around here the compound bow and traditional bow guys always razz each other.

I'm a traditional arrow slinger (longbows, and recurves). I joke with my hunting buddies around here that "they can just ride their bows to their hunting spots with all those wheels and gizmo's on them".

Its worth getting him measured. It may be close to the 125" minimum. I have a 10 point that grossed 129 3/8, 5 inches of deductions brought him in at 124 3/8, 5/8 short of pope and young. Too bad he broke some of one brow tine off or I would have had it. Either way, it's a good buck any day of the week.
