Egg Sinkers!

Does anyonse use egg sinkers instead of those sliding fishfinder deals or snaps and swivels? I figure they wouldn't be great in a current but .... just looking at some of my freshwater stuff and just curious.

HI. Yes, I use them sometimes if necessary. But they tumble alot, so I try to avoid them in the strong currents/skinny water.

I use them a lot, mostly for baitfishing in the back bay where there's very little current. I also use em in situations where I want my bait to sweep along the beach either with eels or when I'm trying to figure out where in a specific beach structure the fish are holding.
They work better then a fishfinder for these uses because they move more and are less prove to tangling with braid.
