Post them .... who cares if they get ups
If you really need to poach a fish to survive have at it but at least be discrete.

I zoomed in as much as I can...u can clearly see he is filleting it by the truck..

If you see someone doing something illegal call the dec. putting pictures on here isn't going to do anything. And I'm guessing based on his vehicle he's not going to starve if he doesn't get that meat

Re: 2020 STRIPER REPORTs
Took my girlfriend out this morning. Was finally able to scap up my limit of herring and save myself a probably pointless trip up a muddy creek.. started the day catching a 20" in the scap net that was chasing my stoolie.. a first for me. My girl caught her ATPB ..a FAT 40.5" that swam away nice and strong. Back at it in the am.

Re: 2020 STRIPER REPORTs
Mostly small ones this year but landed my personal best yesterday at 40 inches. Thanks to the 2 guys who helped me out with a net, picture and successful release. I guess it's time for a bigger net for the kayak.

Re: 2020 STRIPER REPORTs
We fished from Marlboro to Poughkeepsie Fri to Sun all day and night. The fishing was variable with many I know getting 40 lb fish along the east shore and others having trouble. I managed a nice 38 inch female just south of the Rock Plant in 16 FOW on a worm. We had some good runs on an eel but no hookups on it. The numbers are not there yet and the bite is very variable depending on the tide. They seem to really turn on at the tide switches for short periods esp Flood into Slack. There were steady fish running deep with some interested in feeding but most just traveling. Many were frustrated seeing fish all over their screens and no bite. We say MONSTERS on the sonar both Friday and Sat night but they were not hungry. All that changed Sunday night....we dropped off some people because the bite was slow and not 10 minutes later we come across black screens with feeding fish at the Ebb to Slack tide change. They were in the channel heading North fast but feeding. We got multiple back to back fish up to 37 inches. We chased them North and picked of some more but they were moving too fast. The water temps only went up to 50 on Sun from 47 on Friday which is surprising given the amount of sun we had. I think from here on the fish will be more aggressive as long as the temps stay up but that does not look good for the end of the week. I will continue to post updates as I can but since I spend days on end on the water I usually have to wait till I get home.

Re: 2020 STRIPER REPORTs
Got out for a bit Sunday afternoon into evening after completing the marina at MYC. Drifted bloods and caught 7 keeper sized, all released in hearty condition, and a 39" 30 pound cow also released in hearty condition. All the fish this year seem strong and healthy.

Congrats! I added a kayak to my arsenal this year and can't wait to catch a big fat striper on it!

Re: 2020 STRIPER REPORTs
Went out for a few hours this am till I got tired of the wind. Scapped my herring limit in 3 casts which was nice. Boated 4 ranging from 26"-34.5". Fish finder was loaded with schools passing.

Fished port ewen Friday night after the rain...just before dark landed a nice 35” 20 lb then the reels wouldn’t stop and lost a few but boated another 6 up to 27” on chunk in 10 fow. Stayed out until midnight then the wind kicked up. Went back out in the am and slammed the schoolers again all fish 26 to 28 by the lighthouse. Got some sleep the fished Wappingers to beacon outgoing tide drifting eels and sand worms with no bites. Wtf lol

Re: 2020 STRIPER REPORTs
We went back out today from 7:30 am to 8pm. The morning was good on the Flood Tide with lots of fish right where we left them the night before....in the channel at Trap Rock but the bite window was short. It was best during Flood (we missed Slack) but instantly died on the Ebb Tide as the fish scattered to the channel floor. We proceeded to watch them sit on the channel floor from 1pm to 7pm until slack tide when they started to mobilize but the wicked 30mph wind gusts made bait presentation difficult and they were not biting. We still managed 9 more fish up to 37in/21lbs. Water Temp in Marlboro was 50.5 degrees.
