Re: Welcome To All The New Guys!!!
Welcome all. As you can see, The info and members are great! I have not gotten my 40 yet, but I'm sure it's just one trip away with the mid-atlantic gang, and remembering my waders! By the way, any stripers in Ochee, you Ga. boys.

Re: Welcome To All The New Guys!!!
Hi guys,
I'm a total rookie. I've been on a friend's boat out of Newburybort a few times with some success (thanks to him) and have suddenly caught the bug to fish from shore. This site has been an amazing resource and I hope it leads me to some fish - either way, I've figured out alot and regardless of what Tom Petty says, sometimes the waiting is not the hardest part.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Welcome To All The New Guys!!!
Hello, I'm Hoagie.
I'm a fisherman from Jersey, more specificly the Raritan Bay to Sandy Hook and points south...I was strictly a surf guy until 2 yrs. ago when I bought a boat. Now I split my time. I've been at it about 26 years and have made a ton of friends to share my passion with and have found this site very cool. I hope to learn a few things and maybe pass a few things along.
STRIPERJIM, you have done a great job with this site and I hope to fish with you some day.
Tight lines.

Re: Welcome To All The New Guys!!!
Here's a Big "Howdy Ya'll" from Texas. There is not much Striper fishing here on the coast, the big Stripers here are inland here a couple hundred miles. I fish the Surf about 40 miles south of Galveston (San Luis Pass) to Freeport (Mouth of the Brazos). There are alot of Red Drum here and I hope to keep ya'll posted.
Thank You;
for the Welcome

Re: Welcome To All The New Guys!!!
Hello all.
Been a lurker for a while.
Hope to contribute a bit this year, but may be tough
Have a very young mini-me at home, 3months.
May be tough to hit the Suds, which is my only method of fishing.
Tight lines to all and have a good weekend.

Re: Welcome To All The New Guys!!!
Welcome aboard Hatman! I know all about juggling fishing with the little ones at home. That's why 99% of my fishing is done at night when they're in bed Hope you have a great season, and,,,, no more lurking,,, that's an order
