Chesapeake Bay Rook

Hello all,

New the the Chesapeake Bay and Richmond VA area. Grew up fishing the Great Lakes. Been out in the bay a few times this year for cobia and spanish so I am a little familiar with the bay. Headed out next week to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. New to these fish so ANY tips on what I need to do to catch these beasts would greatly be appreciated. I am set up for trolling or jiging.

trolling- Manns stretch 25s/30s, umbrela rigs with sassy shads, and tony spoons.
Jigging-bucktails with curl tails.

Thanks Bassinfool. I will be out on the Bay Oct 7,8,9. Do you think I need to be near the mouth of the bay or near the rivers? Not sure if this is a good time in the season. New to this so I dont know the patterns yet. Any advise will be appreciated.
