Hey everyone
Just wanted to say hello and thank you in advance. The amount of info i have found here in just a few days is astounding!!! As for me and fishing, my horns are so green they glow-in-the-dark!! I have done ALOT of diving along the NJ coast for a Search and Rescue team i was on, under ice, beach dives in February, boat dive out to the Delaware Wreck, on and on ..... and have observed fish life from below, but never enjoyed from above. Now that im interested in surf and jetty (groin) fishing, ive turned to this forum for the most reliable info. Now i must disclose a few negatives i have commited in the past. Years ago when surfing, with a board, you know, i have paddled out through guys drifting bait on the beach

, while diving years back, through the Manasquan Inlet out and around, i have pulled a dive float through about 4-5 guys dropcasting of the wall, hooking about $20-$40 worth of tackle with me

, and i have found more Hopkins and Kastmasters than i knew what to do with, all gone now of course

. With that being said, i hope to redeem myself by learning as much as possible about this wonderful pastime. I run into alot of old salts up and down OC with pics on the walls of past victories and only hope to have an 1/8th of those shots on my wall one day. I hope to be here a while, and hope to see that 1st stripper come out of the surf on my own rig one day. Thanks again, guys!
