help im new to this site. i have been surfcasting for years off plum island the first few years i have catched alot ot schoolies. the past couple years i havent even had a bite. i use a 3 or 4 weight and clams on a slider. what am i doing wrong. ive searched this site and cannot find anything

Find another spot to fish. Look for baitfish. Bass aren't going to be in a spot, if there is nothing for them to feed. Areas change, like the weather. What's a hot spot this year, might not be this year. Storm's change structure, and bass frequent certain areas while they are migrating.
You might not be doing anything wrong, just maybe in the wrong location, for now. And the bass are where you get them.
