Re: Went down to New Bedford Today
If I catch a striper before you in my no so productive seas, I'll . . . . I'll say HA! It's good to get out and give the gear a test fire. You'll be all ready to go, and other guys 'l still be playin pocket pinball when the fish show up.
The few early season cod attempts for me hammered home this one fact: no fish until water temp is 50F!

I hear you on that one, same here. I could build a new house and I would still be behind. Just rebuilt most of the dock, well atleast 300 sq ft of it.(piers, frame and decking) Never mind building a 90 sq ft cement pad so the jet skis don't dig giant holes when pulling onto the ramps.(60 + 80lb bags of mix) Never mind having to carry/wheel barrel all the lumber and mix down a flight of steps then around 100' ft down the yard to the water. I still basically get what have you done lately. I can't win unless I spend every free minute fixing and building things . Oh yeah don't come to fish or consider a move to NJ, there's no fish down here.
