Salmon Falls Dam, South Berwick
Had heard that the Stipers were chasing the Alewifes and Shad up to the dam, comsidering the boat's in the shop decided to try it out last night for a couple of hours. Got my first (and only so far) schoolie :) last night, a little 18" guy that put up a good fight, just enough to get the adrenaline going. There was another guy down fishing and he told me he's never seen anyone catch a fish there with anything other than live bait. Not 5 minutes later I hooked him on a Cabela's Livin' Eye. Hopefully the boat's back in the water next week..........
