How tough is your Hummer???
I have 8 factories around the US and we rebuild the military HMMWV's/HEMTT's/LAV's/Bradleys/etc .. from the frame up and hang armor. It never ceases to amaze me at the folks that want to buy these things on the civilian side? Now they have the H2's (and H3's) that are a bigger piece of crap that the real AM General H1's. If they told me to grab my gear and I had to head to SWA, my trusty F250 SuperDuty would be getting some run flats, under body blast panels, some 3/8" AR side plate, and ballistic glass, then get loaded on the ship with me! A 120MM RFC poking out of the roof on the camper shell would work????

99.9% of the people who buy Hummer's are what are known as "Status Clingers". Having one is a status....its "sheik" man, its "the in thing". And they will never even see the off-road.

I remember.....there was this clownyshoe woman in the area, if I'm not mistaken she lives in North Hampton in one of those "larger homes". Anyhow, I used to see her....in all her glory, driving around in a full-size Hummer, and picking up her kids at school, getting groceries at Shop N Save (now "hannifids")., etc. Yes, a FULL SIZE Hummer. Not an H2. I used to laugh my ass off at her. Clownyshoe. No doubt her hubby bought it for her, and she drives around all day on the roads doing errands and such.....in her big, giant, red Humvee. Jackass. The only dirt it will ever see is the ant hill it may hit when they park it on the lawn to wash it. Thats if they even would wash it themselves. Naaaw. Have someone else do it.
Everyday I go out, I see humanoids that really make me wonder. I guess all you can do is laugh.

The H2 is just a regular truck frame with a HMMWV body.
