I'm coming from the Heights to fish the Battery. Where is a good bait shop in the area to buy bait like eels?

any idea/tips about car parking near the battery and some piers of hudson please...?

Parking downtown Manhattan can be costly. I think there is a municipal lot there but Im not sure of the price. Some people who fish there live in the area and or take the train. There are piers on the Manhattan side but I doubt that their listed anywhere. Most are private property and or delapidated. Livetofish fished there successfully last year.
